Self-Ligating Brackets
Self-ligating brackets produce extraordinary treatment results in less time and greater comfort. Unlike conventional braces, self-ligating brackets do not require ligatures or metal ties to hold the archwire in place. Instead the brackets feature a sort of “trap door” that holds the archwire in place, resulting in less friction between the wire and the bracket.
